With one eye firmly on a quarter final place, South Africa are coming into this match ranked 5th against Canada’s 18th in our table.
Whilst this is predicted to be an obvious win for the Springboks, the two teams have not played each other in nearly two decades, leaving them less sure of the strategy the Canadians will deploy on the pitch.
The minnows have upset the apple cart a few times in this tournament, but so far Canada haven’t looked to be one of them. South Africa will have to win by a very comfortable margin if they are to jump above Wales again in the rankings, but with big victories against Namibia and Italy under their belt so far in this World Cup, they have shown they are more than capable of doing so.
